Cathryne Baird, Educational Psychologist
A Little About Me

Hi, I'm Cathryne.

I am an HPCSA-registered educational psychologist practising in Cape Town, South Africa. I offer therapy and psychological assessments to children, adolescents and adults, as well as parental guidance and support for families.

I earned my Master's degree in Educational Psychology from Stellenbosch University and have extensive experience in both private practice and school-based settings.

I have always been curious about the many fibres that weave together to shape who we are, and how our relationships, experiences and environments influence the ways in which we understand ourselves and navigate the world.

Whether I am meeting someone in therapy or through an assessment, I seek to understand the person beneath the difficulty, the context surrounding their experiences, and the strengths they may no longer recognise in themselves.

My work is grounded in warmth, curiosity and collaboration, with the aim of creating a safe, non-judgemental space in which each person feels genuinely seen and understood.
